OGRA Cuts LPG Price by Rs67.33 Per Kg for July 2026 – New Domestic Cylinder Price Announced

# OGRA Cuts LPG Price by Rs67.33 Per Kg for July 2026, Bringing Relief to Consumers

The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has announced a significant reduction in liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) prices for July 2026, offering much-needed relief to households and businesses dealing with rising living costs.

According to the latest notification issued by the regulator, the official LPG price has been reduced by Rs67.33 per kilogram, effective from July 1, 2026. The revised price has been set at Rs241.43 per kg, compared to Rs308.76 per kg in June.

## New Domestic LPG Cylinder Price

The price of a standard 11.8kg domestic LPG cylinder has also been reduced substantially. Consumers will now pay Rs2,848.91 for a domestic cylinder, reflecting a decrease of Rs794.05 from the previous month's price of Rs3,642.96.

This reduction is expected to ease financial pressure on millions of households across Pakistan that rely on LPG for cooking and heating.

## Commercial LPG Cylinder Also Becomes Cheaper

Commercial consumers will also benefit from the revised pricing. OGRA has reduced the price of a commercial LPG cylinder by Rs3,057, bringing the new official price down to Rs10,960.

Restaurants, hotels, bakeries, and other businesses that use LPG as a primary fuel source are expected to see lower operating costs during July.

## When Will the New LPG Prices Take Effect?

The revised LPG prices came into effect from midnight on July 1, 2026, and will remain applicable throughout the month of July unless revised by OGRA.

Consumers purchasing LPG from authorized distributors are expected to receive the benefit of the new official rates immediately.

## Relief Amid Rising Living Costs

The latest reduction comes as a welcome development for consumers facing increasing household expenses. Lower LPG prices can help reduce monthly energy costs, particularly in areas where natural gas is unavailable and LPG remains the primary cooking fuel.

Businesses that depend heavily on LPG may also benefit from reduced fuel expenses, potentially lowering overall operational costs.
